How many promises have I made over my lifetime, LORD?
Thank you for the ones You’ve helped me keep.
But how many have I broken?
It may be too late to do anything about most of them – except to deeply and sincerely apologize.
And yet…
Are there any broken promises I can make right? If so, please give me the courage and strength to do so, without delay.
But I have promises still to keep.
Jesus, I beg You: Help me be a promise keeper!
No matter what the cost.

Perfect!
I don’t particularly enjoy my neighbor; we never seem to get along. Instead of projecting negative thoughts and feelings toward him, I elected to love him and keep him in my prayers. Lately, it has become harder to stay in a positive “frame of being” when interacting with him. After reflecting and praying on today’s Lazaroo I was reminded of how God keeps his promises and I must keep mine, in particular… Love thy neighbor.
Today’s Lazaroo led me to this passage, which was found while searching the internet.
Christians are to be concerned about people’s spiritual well-being; they are also to be concerned with their health, social, economic, and political well-being. This is a complex feat and not easily accomplished. Yet, just as God keeps promises that are far-reaching, Christians need to be far-reaching in keeping promises to love their neighbors. They should love just as they would like to be loved in the fullness of God’s intended blessings for them and the environment in which they live.
