Everybody needs backup, Jesus.

Moses gave it to the judges of Israel
You gave it to Moses.

Thank You for everybody You’ve given me

who’s got my back.

There’s no way I can keep track of the number of people who mean me harm.

There’s no way I can even begin to guess how much Satan hates me

how many traps he’s set for me
how many demons he’s unleashed against me
how many land mines he’s buried in the path I’m about to walk.

But I’m not alone, am I?

You lay it on the hearts of Your servants to speak up in my behalf
You prompt total strangers to help me when my friends cannot.

But when my defenders are nowhere to be found

You…

are all the backup I need.
