I hate those days, Jesus!

I’ve had a few of them.

Maybe it’s just my imagination

but it feels like it’s been more than a few.

Why do You allow me to go through days like that?
Why don’t You make every one of my days

easy
pleasant
happy
fun?

Maybe I’d take them for granted, huh?

Start complaining when one day
wasn’t as much fun as the other.

I still hate those days of distress and anguish, LORD…

but they sure do make me appreciate
the good ones.
