Samaria, Jesus…

where the wicked King Ahab built an altar to Baal
where his wife Jezebel killed Naboth for his vineyard
where lived many Jews who had intermarried with the heathen
where You revealed Yourself to a woman at the well

as the Living Water.

I live in Samaria too, don’t I?

A land of great disobedience
in which You still offer Living Water

to those who thirst.
