Oct 31, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with lavish love:

“‘Ah, Sovereign LORD,’ I said, ‘I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.’”
(Jeremiah 1:6)

That’s exactly how I feel, Jesus.

I’m just a child.

Oh, I try to be “big.”

I try to come across to others as

wise
strong
mature
insightful
knowledgeable

but You know I’m not.

I’m only a child.

Of course…the good thing about that is

I know I don’t know.

That’s something, isn’t it?

Ha! At least I’m not on an ego trip!

There’s another thing I like about being a child:

You like children.

In fact, You said something stunning – that if I humble myself and become like a little child

I will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

That fills me with hope, Jesus!

But the best part of all about being a child

is knowing Whose child I am.

Greetings; A lot to consider. At 1st thought I considered all the excuses Moses used and being a child was not 1 of them.God gave Moses Aaron as speaker.God touched Jeremiahs mouth and put His words there.Being a youth was Jeremiahs only excuse.Never the less, being a child of The Most High God through Jesus is fantastic!!! Is it Child-like or Childish Faith? Of course, its Child-like Faith! Little children tell it like their minds see it,unclouded minds.Jesus, clear away the webs that cloud my Child-like Faith in you.God Bless you & yours.

What a feeling to know that we are God’s children! What comfort to know that we don’t have to have it all figured out , that my father is always there, always watching and listening, ready at a moments notice to guide, lead and direct me on the right path. To know that his word will never lead me astray is of great peace and comfort in a world full of turmoil and distress.

Thank you, Lord, for keeping my secrets . . . and knowing just when to bring them to light.
