Lazaroo – Saturday, September 24, 2011
Sep 24, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained allegiance:
“Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?”
(1 Corinthians 1:20)
So just about the time our sharpest, smartest, most brilliant people think they have finally figured something out…
You do one tiny thing
that shows us we know nothing.
In those humiliating moments
all we know is that we don’t know a thing –
and even that, we’re unsure of.
So where does that leave me, Jesus?
It takes away my comforting illusion
that I’m surrounded by experts –
people to whom I can go for answers
to all my important questions.
Oh, there’s no shortage of people
who think they know what I should do
or who are willing to fake it…
but down deep, I know better
which leaves me with only One to whom I can go…
You.

RM Says:
In days past .. sometimes the world & its “thinkers” made sense .. but now we see the world as it is. (upside down) We just need to keep abiding in Christ the True Vine, nourishing and sustaining all our needs.
