Lazaroo – Sunday, August 30, 2009

Aug 30, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sold-out surrender:

“…the hand of the LORD was upon him.”
(Ezekiel 1:3)

Your hand is powerful, LORD.

When Your hand is against someone, nothing succeeds. There is

fear
failure
defeat
shame
distress
torment
anguish
darkness
blindness
confusion
weakness
emptiness
hopelessness
desolate waste

Everything turns to dust.

Who can take a step if You do not permit it?

Who can speak and have it happen, if You have not decreed it?

In vain do the men and women of this earth dream their dreams and lay their plans apart from You.

But when You place Your hand on someone You love, good things happen.

Amazing things.

joy
love
faith
hope
favor
delight
healing
strength
blessing
courage
direction
salvation
protection
happiness
understanding
breakthroughs
answered prayers
unexpected success

They are unstoppable.

No weapon forged against them will prevail.

O Jesus.

Place Your hand on me.

I don’t know why, but this reminds me of the passage that describes Jesus as a stone over which those who stumble are broken, but on whom the stone falls, are crushed to bits.
