You are faithful, heavenly Father!

Far surpassing any other faithfulness I have ever known.

You always keep Your Word.
You never forget Your promises.

In spite of the amazing nature of those promises

You always under promise
and over perform.

You back up Your every word

with action.

I can always count on You.

When You say You will be there for me

You always show up

on time.

I’ve had my share of experiences with people who tell me one thing

and do another.

I know what it is to depend on someone to take care of something vitally important

only to be left holding an empty bag.

O Jesus.

Is this why You value faithfulness so highly

in me?
