Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones: 

“…rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith…”
(Titus 1:13)

Sometimes that’s what it takes, isn’t it, Jesus?

…although no one enjoys receiving a sharp rebuke.

There are some people who enjoy delivering sharp rebukes

but something tells me their rebukes don’t do nearly as much good
as those delivered by humble people who hate giving them.

O God!

Give me the courage to deliver a sharp rebuke whenever it’s needed
and the maturity to take every sharp rebuke I need to receive

straight to heart.
