Lazaroo – Sunday, October 2, 2011

Oct 02, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with burning emotion:

“It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry…supposing that they can stir up trouble for me…”
(Philippians 1:15, 17)

Why would anybody do that, Jesus?

I don’t understand.

I mean…it’s one thing for somebody not to like me.

There are plenty of days when I don’t like myself!

But to hope something bad happens to me –
to actually go out of their way to make trouble for me?

I don’t get it.

Don’t they understand that what goes around…

comes around?

Don’t they realize You’re watching?

Don’t they understand You make it a point to punish people who hurt Your kids?

Obviously not.

Come to think of it…

that’s a far bigger insult to You
than it is to me.

Whatever they do to me

I have coming.

But to attack someone who belongs to You –
and think they can get away with it?

Oooooo.

Parents are like that and HE is so far above us .. it is frightening to think of knowingly doing harm to His kids.
