Lazaroo – Thursday, August 5, 2010
Aug 05, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with the loving awe due your God:
“The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.”
(Nahum 1:5)
You’re my closest, best Friend, Jesus.
No one
is more tender
more gentle with me
than You.
You wrap me in Your loving arms and shield me from the stormy blast of this world –
everything Satan hurls at me.
But never let me forget Who You Are.
You are the Mighty One who spoke the worlds into existence!
You form the light…
but You are also the one who creates darkness.
You bring prosperity…
but You are also the one who creates disaster.
You care about me and listen intently to me
but You’re still the Potter…
and I’m still the clay.
You are not my genie in a bottle who does my bidding
I am Your unworthy servant
who does Yours.

Al Says:
I agree that the Lord could create disaster & darkness. He can do anything. But I believe that some disaster & darkness is of our own making. We face consequences of sin in our lives. Lord thank you for being so patient on us. Lord forgive us!
