Lazaroo – Thursday, December 23, 2010

Dec 23, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with a heart to follow wherever God leads:

“Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, ‘I have become an alien in a foreign land.’”
(Exodus 2:21-22)

I can totally identify, Jesus.

I’m just like Moses –
well…at least in this respect:

You do things a lot differently
than I have them planned.

Moses was on track to be the next Pharaoh of Egypt

But in a heartbeat, everything changed –
his dreams as dead as the man he had just killed.

Now, he’s a nobody –

an alien hiding in a foreign land
married to someone he’s just met
saddling their child with a strange name.

He thought everything had come untracked

little knowing You had just placed him on track
for his amazing destiny.

Next time my life appears to jump track

remind me of Moses.

Steve, I remember when you were about 18 just out of high school and spent the nite with my brother steve and I dropped by my Mom and Dad’s on Sat morning and you were there sitting at the kitchen table talking to my family. I joined in and the subject came up about whether you would go into the ministry and you said no, you were probably going into journalism or engineering but not the ministry. But as you said the Lord had other plans.
Also thanks so much for your prayers for Bill. So much could have happened to him when he had his whole brain in radiation for three weeks. He had a csan last week and the tumors in his body had not spread to any other part of his body. We are again so thankful for that. Please continue to help us pray for him as he can barely eat anything at all. Love and Prayers, Jeane
