Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deepening desire:

“…growing in the knowledge of God…”
(Colossians 1:10)

I love learning new things about the people I love, Jesus!

I want to understand them
hear what they’ve experienced
watch how they respond to success
observe what they do when challenged.

That takes time.
Focus.

It doesn’t just happen.
I have to make it happen.

I have to stay alert to every opportunity
be ready to seize it when an opening occurs.

But even that isn’t enough.

I have to schedule regular times to be with them
sacred sessions set aside to focus solely on them.

If I don’t, my relationship with them won’t grow.

In time, it will shrink
become just a memory of what once was
turn into nothing more than

an acquaintance.

Of all the people who enrich my life

none compares to You.

That being the case…

I think I’ve just established my day’s top priority.
