Lazaroo – Thursday, February 23, 2012
Feb 23, 2012 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in humbled trust:
“I went up the valley by night, examining the wall.”
(Nehemiah 2:15)
I can identify, Jesus!
Nehemiah had a wall to build
but had to examine it at night.
The light’s not so good after the sun goes down.
But in that circumstance
at that time
that’s what he had to do.
You know, LORD – and I don’t in any way mean this as a complaint –
it seems to me
while I’m on this earth
all my decisions have to be made
“at night”
when the light isn’t so good
when the information I have to go on is
frustratingly incomplete
shrouded in darkness.
Oh, sure – there have been times when I was certain I was seeing with crystal clarity
only later to painfully discover
I didn’t have a clue.
So where does that leave me, LORD?
Utterly dependent on You.
Which is exactly where I want to be.

Yes Psalm 9:10 .. the only way to have hope for perfect clarity.
