Lazaroo – Thursday, January 20, 2011
Jan 20, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with eyes full of faith:
“I set out during the night with a few men.”
(Nehemiah 2:12)
There’s nothing like that feeling, Jesus –
to set out on a mission with a small team of people
just crazy enough to believe
You might actually be pleased to work through us
to take a crucial hill in this battle of the ages
each member of our tiny team brothers and sisters
made that way by our faith in Your blood
shed for us on the cross
closer than close.
I know You love big numbers.
One day a multitude too many to count
from every nation, tribe, people and language
will gather around Your throne and worship You with voices lifted high.
But there’s something in You
that loves to make something really big
out of something that begins very small.
Remind of me of that
next time only a handful of people show up.

Bill Says:
This is so fitting for us, we are trying to start a House of Prayer like IHOP in Kansas City. Even though we only have a few to show up in the prayer room, one day there will be many.
