Lazaroo – Thursday, June 23, 2011
Jun 23, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep humility:
“I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.”
(Daniel 2:3)
I’ve had a few of those, Jesus…
not ordinary dreams
not even nightmares
dreams that felt a little too real
that refused to fade
that stuck with me all through the day
dreams that troubled me.
When I awoke I wanted to know what they meant.
I still do.
There’s so much more to life than I can begin to comprehend!
What I am able to see
is the tiniest tip of the iceberg.
What I am able to understand
wouldn’t fill a communion cup.
O my God.
You’re the Author of great mysteries
the Creator of fathomless depths of wisdom.
Reveal them to me!
in Your way and in Your time
as soon as it pleases You
as I’m able to handle them.
But until then…
enable me to trust.

I pray for wisdom & patience .. but I am so grateful that God protects us from all the things that we don’t need to know or see, (such awesome mercy & compassion from our Lord) and then when the time comes He gives all we need to get through it. Such a wonderful Savior.
