Lazaroo – Thursday, June 25, 2009

Jun 25, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with zealous anticipation:

“The word of the LORD came to Ezekiel…”
(Ezekiel 1:3)

Bring Your Word to me today, Jesus!

Make it so clear that I can’t miss it.

Make it Big, Bold and utterly Beautiful to my eyes.

Cause it to pierce my heart.

Cause it to correct my sinful ways.

Cause it to alter my course and flawlessly guide my steps.

Cause it to sharpen my thoughts.

Cause it to clarify my goals.

Cause it to embolden me with courage.

Cause it to fill my body with strength.

Cause it to flood me with hope.

Please.

Bring Your Word to me today.

Don’t delay.

I need it.

I really, really need it.

Now.

That is where I am, too. I sometimes think we don’t strive to embrace His plan for us, but are more concerned with what WE want. I do concur with Steve. Lazaroo does often remind us of the narrow path and the “not my will but Thine” relationship.
