Lazaroo – Thursday, September 8, 2011

Sep 08, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Open your heart wide to God as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people.”
(Haggai 1:14)

Oh, Jesus.

I love knowing You do this!

So when you catch me plodding along in mediocrity…

stir up my spirit!

Next time I’m battling some sickness and can hardly put one foot in front of the other…

stir up my spirit!

When You assign me one of those tasks bigger than I am…

stir up my spirit!

After I’ve just been read the riot act by someone I thought liked me…

stir up my spirit!

In the aftermath of a huge setback that plummets my confidence…

stir up my spirit!

And when I get to feeling rejected, unwanted and all alone in the world…

stir up my spirit!

Great lesson for us today Pastor. Thankfully God stirs up the spirit of His “Peculiar People.”
