Lazaroo – Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Apr 20, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in grateful amazement:

“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.”
(Ephesians 1:11)

Now I have one more reason to be grateful to You, Jesus.

I was chosen.

Not because I’m good.
Not because I deserve it.
Not because of anything I’ve done.

I was chosen for one reason and one reason only:

I’m in You.

You drew me to Yourself and I responded.

You forgave every sin I ever committed

gave me new life
called me Your own.

I’ve put all my faith, hope and trust in You.

Now You tell me I’m chosen for a purpose.

You’ve marked out for me a specific destiny.

Nothing in heaven or on earth can stop what You’re about to do.

And You’ve selected me

to play a key role

in Your plan.

If we truly understood what the entire chapter of Romans 9 says, we would fall on our faces before our God in gratitude!
We are CHOSEN ,and not all are !! Who is and who is not?
I don’t have a clue, but this I understand. It does not change the Great Commision which tells us to GO!! “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” Matthew 28:18-20 Let us all remember we are chosen for good works, not by them Ephesians 2:8-10 ” lest any man should boast”
