Lazaroo – Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Feb 26, 2019 I Lazaroo.

Pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee.”
(John 1:43)

Where do You want to go today, Jesus?

‘Cause wherever that is
I’m with You.

Sometimes it’s fun.

Sometimes it’s not.

Depending on where You decide to take me, on any given day it can be

thrilling…terrifying
teaching…tiring
terrific…taxing.

But regardless of my emotions, it doesn’t matter

because there’s nowhere I’d rather be
than with You.

Every single day…all along the way…

I’m sticking to You like glue.

I love your sincere question, Morris. Yes, God still heals today. He’s healed me. I can personally attest that He has healed many people I personally know.

“I the Lord do not change.” (Malachi 3:6)
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12)

Why are some people healed and others not? God is Sovereign. He alone knows what’s best. Some of us must suffer to become the people He has created us to be (Psalms 119:67) Others are benefited by an indisputable miracle from God.

“What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses, ‘I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.’ It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.”(Romans 9:14-16)

As a caution, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe Jesus is God. They will tell you He is the Son of God, but they will not confess Him as LORD and God, as did Thomas (John 20:28). Jehovah’s Witnesses have removed, added and changed portions of Scripture to fit with their founder’s views – something especially forbidden by God (Revelation 22:18)

    Hope this helps, Morris!
