Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud to the LORD…with a smile of trust:

 “I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”

So much of life is like that, Jesus.

Here’s John, being faithful to fearlessly preach Your Word
telling everyone the Messiah is coming

and it turns out to be You! –
his cousin.

My own life has taken so many surprising twists and turns
that it’s starting to dawn on me:

Since You’re the only one who truly knows what’s going on

that’s the way it’s always going to be.
