Oct 18, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with white-hot fervor:
“…how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?”
(Hebrews 2:3)
Great question, Jesus.
If I ignore Your great offer of salvation
there’s no escape
which, of course, is why I haven’t ignored it!
I believe You’re God
that You came to earth as a baby
born of a virgin
that You lived a sinless life
were unjustly executed on a cross to pay for my sins
rose from the dead on the third day
that even now, as we speak
You rule and reign from Your throne in heaven
and one day, in the fullness of time
You will return for every person
who has not ignored Your great salvation
who has put his or her faith in You alone as Savior
which means I’ve got to share this good news with everybody I can –
because if they ignore Your great salvation…
how will they escape?

Amen, there is no other way .. and how amazing it is to be loved by such a compassionate loving God who thought we were worth saving .. enough to allow Himself to being nailed to a cross and pay our sin debt .. of course we have to share this awesome gift.
