Pray this Lazaroo in anguished determination:
“Has a nation ever changed its gods?”
(Jeremiah 2:11)
All the time, Jesus. All the time.
We worship the god of the sea
until we stop catching fish.
We worship the god of the harvest
until our crops fail.
We worship the god of the stock market
until it crashes.
We worship the god of relationships
until the divorce papers arrive.
But why – dear God, why? – would anyone who has ever known You worship anything or anyone else?
You…never fail.

How true Pastor Steve. So often we hear “Oh thank God you are so much better” and then when takes a turn for the worse, “Oh God, how could you have allowed this to happen? We must , we must, keep our faith in our Lord & Savior regardless of any outcome. It is such an easy thing to say but we must cling to it with all of our hearts.
