Lazaroo – Wednesday, July 23, 2014

Jul 23, 2014 I Lazaroo.

Cry out to God, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“No one is near to comfort me…”
(Lamentations 1:16)

Sometimes my comforters are too far away, Jesus.

When my agony is great I need somebody near.

I know there is no distance in prayer.

You are always here for me.

But it helps so much when You show up

in the person of someone who knows how to bring comfort.

Not everyone has that gift.

Some of those who show up mean well but are more of a burden than a blessing.

Bless them richly for their precious attempt!

But please…

send me someone who operates in Your priceless gift

of comfort.

Isn’t it wonderful that our God is “the God” of all comfort who comforts us in our trials so we can go,,,,,then comfort someone else who is going through the same thing? What a MIghty loving God we serve!
