Lazaroo – Wednesday, July 24, 2013
Jul 24, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with big picture faith:
“I went away full, but the LORD has brought me back empty.”
(Ruth 1:21)
Naomi was telling it straight, Jesus:
There was a time when it felt like her dreams had come true.
Now, her dream had become a nightmare
and You did it.
But she was struggling with it the way I so often do:
She was lost in the moment.
Because her loss was so great
because what she was going through was so emotional
she was unable to see that’s all it was:
a moment.
It was a season of her life
that would soon pass.
Thank You for sharing this woman’s story with me, Father.
It’s a lot easier to see what You’re doing in somebody else’s life
especially when I can look back and see the beautiful way it ended.
The tide goes out
but with You…
it always comes back in.
