Lazaroo – Wednesday, June 13, 2012

Jun 13, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in deepest gratitude:

“If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.”
(Leviticus 3:12)

I can identify with this one, Jesus.
That’s exactly what I have to offer You:

a goat.

That would be me.

I don’t have to tell You –

You didn’t exactly hit the jackpot
when I became a Christian.

I believe it’s the truth when You tell me heaven rejoices over just one sinner who repents.

But after they rejoiced over me
I’m guessing a few of them exchanged glances.

“Wow – now there’s a keeper!”

The great Apostle Paul – the one through whom You gave us more of the New Testament than any other –

called himself the least of the apostles
the worst of sinners.

If Paul was the least and the worst…what does that make me?

The absolute hands-down
most shocking trophy

of Your grace.
