Lazaroo – Wednesday, June 27, 2012

Jun 27, 2012 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with discerning faith:

“Then the men of Benjamin rallied behind Abner.”
(2 Samuel 2:25)

That’s what we do, isn’t it, Jesus?

especially during times of crisis.

We’re drawn to a leader we feel we can get behind.

Someone with the courage to lead us.

Of course, while we’re at it, we want more than that.

We want a leader who has the wisdom to know

when something needs to be changed…

or left alone.

Someone the poorest person can influence

but with too much integrity to be bought.

Someone humble enough to listen to all of us

but smart enough

to know which of us is offering good advice
and which of us needs to be respectfully ignored.

That’s asking a lot of any human being –

which is why the wisest among us will only follow a leader

who is determined above all else

to follow You.

  1. Marie Says:

Yes … His wisdom is above wise .. He loves everyone .. never changes, never flip flops, money doesn’t interest him … He owns everything. And He wants to give us “everything” if we will follow Him. So our hope is that we will find those that are lead by Him. Satan doesn’t have much time .. so he is getting deliriously creative and will do his best to imitate some of the above mentioned behaviors. But by diligently listening to Him (our precious Lord) we can stay on the right path in the political and our day to day life.
