Lazaroo – Wednesday, March 16, 2011
Mar 16, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with the measure of faith God has given you:
“…ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus…”
(Ephesians 1:15)
That’s the kind of faith I long to have, Jesus –
the kind somebody hears about
because somebody else saw it and was inspired by it
enough to talk about it.
But that kind of faith doesn’t come quickly or cheaply, does it?
It’s not wishful thinking.
It doesn’t flow from the imagination of my own mind.
It starts with soberly taking stock
of how much faith You’ve already given me
confirming it in Your Word
then stepping out in it
living it
walking it
talking it
while begging You for more.
Every new step of faith I take becomes more challenging
because the mountains in my life seem to get bigger
but every new step of faith I take becomes easier
because not one of Your good promises to me has failed.

Steve Says:
I love your heart, Rod! You’re in the right place, now, man. You are right: It is NEVER too late to be redeemed. Jesus absolutely promises to forgive you and give you a brand new start – this very instant: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9. Welcome back, my brother. We need you.
