Lazaroo – Wednesday, March 21, 2012
Mar 21, 2012 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud…with new perspective:
“…strangers carried off his wealth…”
(Obadiah 1:11)
This was one of the worst things that could happen to them, wasn’t it, Jesus?
To work and accumulate for a lifetime
hoping to have something to pass on to their loved ones
only to have their enemies sweep in and carry it away!
I guess that could happen to me, too –
total strangers sweeping in and carrying off my things
in the yard sale they have after I die.
Most of the possessions I’ve stored away over the years in closets, attics, sheds, garages and back rooms
won’t be treasured by my family and friends.
It will be mere clutter they don’t want to store.
After all, they need to save room to accumulate their own lifetime of clutter
to be auctioned off by those who come after them.
Maybe I should try to leave behind something more important…
than stuff.

Once again, thanks, Steve…for several reasons. God bless you richly today. Enjoy the beauty of it.
