Lazaroo – Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Nov 13, 2013 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud to God:

“Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away.”
(Nahum 1:13)

Oh, Jesus.

Sometimes, I don’t even know I’m wearing shackles…

until I attempt to obey You.

Suddenly, there’s a struggle.

I can’t move.

I tug a little harder.
Then a little harder, still.

Nothing.
Too strong.
Locked in tight.

That’s when I discover what Satan has done to me

or I’ve done to myself.

O God!
How do I break free?

I can’t do it on my own.
You’re the only one who can tear my shackles away.

It’s okay if you do it in a way I don’t expect.

Just do it.

    Dear Pastor Steve,
Today I received my first Lazaroo. I read aloud and prayed aloud with tears running down my face. Thank you for starting my day with my Lord.

I have one question though; I was taught not to pray to Jesus but to God. Jesus said “Ask nothing of me but of my Father in my name,” Would you please comment on that?
    Thank you!
    You’re Terrific!
