Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with earnest desire:

“The captain went up to Elijah…and said to him, ‘Man of God, the king says, “Come down!’” Elijah answered the captain, ‘If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!’ Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men.”
(2 Kings 1:9-10)

Elijah was a man of God who was able to call down fire from heaven, LORD.

I’m still a work in progress.

But You tell me in the Bible that Elijah was a person…

just like me.

On his good days he worked miracles. On his bad days he

was afraid and ran for his life
gave up and wanted to die

I can identify with Elijah on his bad days, Jesus.

Before I die –

oh, how I’d love to experience a couple of Elijah’s good days!
