Lazaroo – Wednesday, September 2, 2009
Sep 02, 2009 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sincere, sober faith:
“Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.”
(Revelation 1:3)
This is a pretty amazing promise, Jesus.
All I have to do is read the Book of Revelation
and I will be blessed.
But it doesn’t stop there, does it?
You want me to really hear it.
So You can bless me again.
You challenge me to take it heart.
So You can bless me even more.
But once I’ve
read it
heard it
taken it to heart
I know what You’re going to do.
You’re going to hold me responsible for what I’ve read, heard and taken to heart.
And if I
ignore it
disobey it
disbelieve it
all of those blessings
will become a curse.

Jeff Says:
It is important to realize that He is talking about His definition of blessing. We mustn’t allow our flawed human minds to expect our ideas of blessing here. There is blessing in just being spiritually prepared for the coming of our Lord!
