Lazaroo – Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Sep 23, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:

“At that time I said to you, ‘You are too heavy a burden for me to carry alone.’”
(Deuteronomy 1:9)

I can identify, Jesus.

There are people in my life who are too heavy for me, too.

I try.

I give it my best –

You know I do.

But just about the time I think I’ve got them taken care of and headed in the right direction…

…they crash and burn.

And in their desperate panic

they latch onto me and pull me down with them.

I can’t take much more, Jesus.

I can’t bear this burden alone!

I’m not asking You to send people to help me.

This burden is heavier than a whole throng of people could carry.

I need You.

Please!

Reach down with Your mighty hand and

turn this water into wine
part the Red Sea
raise the dead.

You

are my only Hope.

You’re absolutely right, He is our only hope! God’s word tells us that each one who puts their trust in Him will never be put to shame. What a promise!
