“His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.”
(Exodus 2:4)

Sometimes that’s what’s left, isn’t it, Jesus?

Sometimes when I’ve done all I can do, I have no choice but to stand at a distance from my hopes, plans and dreams – even the people I love! – to see what will happen to them.

But this I know –

Even when I am forced to take my hands off…

You are hands on.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

O God.

Job 19:13-19; John 15:5; Ephesians 6:13; Psalms 10:12; Psalms 69:19-20; Matthew 9:36; 2 Timothy 4:16-18; Revelation 19:1-6

What is Lazaroo?

Ha! And sometimes the word for that “anticipation of the ‘sometimes painful’ things from His hand is called, “anxiety!” 🙂

Wow, John. That IS the question, isn’t it? How do you know when you’ve done all you can do? Godly wisdom informed by His Word is, indeed, the key…along with this 1on1 time with Him, breathing in the promptings from the Holy Spirit.

And, what faith building times these are as we slowly learn that, not only is there no need to fear what God may allow to happen, but that there is every reason to anticipate wonderful (if sometimes painful) things from His hand!

  4. John Tevault Says:

Standing at a distance, how can I know when it is time to stand back?
I know that GOD does not let me stand alone,so while standing back I must pray, and pray, then pray more for wisdom.
Then I will know if it is time for me to lend a hand or continue to stand back.
As I drink in the milk, wisdom becomes more important then I ever knew.
