“Esther continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.”
(Esther 2:20)

Obviously, Esther was the kind of girl every parent dreams of, LORD.  After she left home, she became the kind of woman every parent dreams of.

I haven’t been that good.  From my childhood till now, there have been times when I disobeyed the wholesome principles I received from those You placed over me.

Please forgive me!

There’s nothing I can do about the past.  But from this moment forward, You have given me a new chapter to write.

That’s what I long to do, Jesus!

Have I abandoned any of those early instructions You want me to still follow?  If so, please show me what they are.

With your help, I will build those holy principles into my life.

You are so right, Jeff. Speaking of my own checkered past, He’s the God of the second-billioneth chance!
