“We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(1 Thessalonians 1:3)

This is exactly who I want to be, Jesus:

May my every action spring from sincere belief backed up by Your Word that I’m doing what You want me to do.

May my love for You keep me going, even when the work becomes hard.

And may my hope in You be so strong…

That I will refuse to quit until the work You have given me is done.

In addition, Lord, let me work, continue to work even when it is counter intuitive to my own earthly mind.
