Lazaroo – Monday, June 29, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with outrageous adoration:
“When the LORD began to speak through Hosea…”
(Hosea 1:2)
Have You ever spoken through me, Jesus?
I’d like to think You have.
But if so, I wouldn’t necessarily know it, would I?
At least…not always.
There have been times I thought I was almost certainly speaking for You…
…only later to discover I was wrong.
There have been other times I thought I had probably overstepped my bounds…
…only later to discover those were the very words that were needed.
I long for You to speak through me again.
I long to be used by You in the lives of others – to build them up, to inspire them to draw close to You.
But even as You use me to speak to others
Please help me draw close enough to You that I can hear the gentle whisper of Your voice
when You speak to me.

Jeff Says:
God has spoken through me in the most unique times. Because of that, I know that my flaws cannot stop Him from using me. I am both honored and humbled to be used by the Creator of the Universe.
