Lazaroo – Friday, September 28, 2012

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with wholehearted adoration:

“If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.”
(1 John 1:10)

How many of us who claim to be Christians miss this, Jesus?

You’re saying if I willingly, knowingly reject one part of the Bible

Your Word has no place in my life.

I know a lot of people who don’t think that way.

They suppose they can pick and choose
which parts of the Bible they want to believe

and ignore the parts they don’t agree with:

eat the fish
spit out the bones

accept what they like
reject the rest

evaluate the validity of Your Word
take it under advisement.

They would say Your Word has “a” part in their lives.

But You say, huh-uh.

It’s all or nothing.

I’m either all in
or left out.
