“‘I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,’ declares the LORD.”
(Zephaniah 1:2) 

Not long ago, most scientists disagreed with these words of Yours, Jesus. 

Their theories led them to believe the universe had always existed and would last forever.

Then came Your tipping point.  

By1964, You had piled up the evidence until it had become overwhelming.  Most scientists were forced to admit the cosmos had a beginning – just as You told them in the Bible more than 4,000 years ago!

And now, in this very decade, scientists have reached nearly unanimous agreement that one day everything on earth will be swept away. 

Just as You declared through Your prophet 2600 years ago.

Unlike my Biblically-challenged friends, however, this fact doesn’t plunge me into deep despair.

You’ve promised to give me a new heaven and earth!

Galaxies and theories come and go.

Your Word stands.
