Lazaroo – Sunday, March 22, 2009

I thank my God every time I remember you.”
(Philippians 1:3)

That’s who I want to be Jesus – someone who inspires people to thank You every time they think of me.

I’m pretty sure I’m not there, yet.

But I think I know how to get there.  All I have to do is become the person You created me to be.

That’s far easier said than done.

It requires me to let go of my old self, the expectations of others and the temptations of Satan.  None of those is easy.

But only then can I tune in to You without distraction.

I know You’re ready to lead me.

If only I am ready to follow.

This has been a hard test for me. To let go of my past, all those temptations, and to focus truely on Jesus. When the man of Darkness sees Jesus winning, satan really knows how to throw some punches and hit where it hurts most. I know as long as I keep lookin up and put my faith In the Lord there is NOTHING we cant get through together.
A quote from my father… “Do not tell God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big God is.”
