Lazaroo – Friday, June 19, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep yearning:
“The ox knows his master, the donkey his owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”
(Isaiah 1:3)
I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for You, Jesus.
Even farm animals know their masters.
But human beings – those You’ve created in Your own image! – don’t know You.
What more could You do to reveal Yourself to us than You’ve already done?
Our problem isn’t that we are unable to know You.
It’s that we are unwilling to do what it takes to know You.
I’ve been guilty of that, too.
But no more.
That changes now.
I can’t answer for anyone else, LORD. But as for me, I am determined:
To seek You
And find You.
And know You.
And never let go.
No matter what the cost.

Jesus directed us, as Christians, to spread the Word to all corners of the earth. Once this is complete, He will return. Your ministry @ Lazaroo reflects the glory of God as you do His bidding. Our Saviour’s reappearance is that much closer because of the work you have been commissioned to do. Hallelujah & Amen!
