Lazaroo – Saturday, August 22, 2009

1 comment, Aug 22, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with electric anticipation:

“Take me away with you—let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers.”
(Song of Songs 1:4)

You are my King, Jesus.

I’m clinging to your Promise that one day You will take me to heaven, where I will live forever with You.

Please don’t misunderstand.

I’m grateful for everything You’re doing for me here on earth.

There’s so much more I would love to accomplish

people to love
things to experience
men, women and children to tell about You

But this world is so messed up!

the pain
the injustice
the heartache
the disillusionment

I’ve just about had it with what’s going on down here.

Especially when I think about what You’ve got in store for me up there.

So whenever it’s time…

…I’m more than ready.

Oh Jesus.

Hurry!

Bring me into Your chambers.
