Lazaroo – Sunday, November 22, 2009

1 comment, Nov 22, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.”
(Exodus 2:12)

Reading this gives me the shivers, Jesus.

Not only because Moses committed murder

but also because he thought he could do it and not get caught.

There’s no such thing, is there?

No matter how clever I am at concealing my actions

there’s no hiding them from You – because You

see everything I do
hear everything I say
know every thought I think.

But it doesn’t stop with You!

Sooner or later, whatever I have so carefully hidden – whether good or bad – will come to light.

So I may as well not bother trying to cover things up.

Wow.

It’s too late to change my past.

But from here on

help me live a life of such integrity that I won’t be ashamed

when everyone finds out.

Greetings; I lost my whole post. I was completly posted and some thing went wrong.Ok,fine.Basically it was on attempting to hide “situations” good or bad from Jesus & from people.I had posted something like keeping a dirty house and undergoing the embarassment of unexpected company.I am sure that Moses did not expect to come across the situations that he did.The consequences of his actions cost him dearly! He could not find enough sand to cover up that one from Jesus. There are times in my life when my ugly past lifts its head and I am so ashamed.I can’t hide my actions, not enough sand to cover it.But I can run to Jesus as fast as I can!!! Lay my head down at His feet and soak up the blood, rest and pray.As an instructer said; The high cost of low living.Gary
