Lazaroo – Tuesday, January 5, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with bottomless trust:
“But the LORD said to me, ‘Do not say, “I am only a child.” You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.’”
(Jeremiah 1:7)
Help me understand this, LORD.
When Solomon told You he was “only a little child,” You were pleased with him.
In fact, Jesus –
You went so far as to say unless I change and become like a little child
I can’t even enter the kingdom of heaven.
But when Jeremiah told you he was only a child
You rebuked him.
Why?
Is it because You demand both from me –
the humility of a little child
who knows that apart from You
I can do nothing?
coupled with the fierce confidence of a warrior
who knows that in Your strength
I can do all things?
Look into my heart, Jesus:
Which of the two
do I most need today?

GREETINGS; Many times I have gone to the lord with excuses,as is found through out the Word of God from many of His chosen ones. When I look back,I can see where Jesus has worked out a path for me.A lesson in learning to lean on and trust His love and protection for me.
