Jo Ann and I have read together, nearly every morning, for many many years. We are in the Word, the “Daily Bread” and usually in another devotional as well. For years we have prayed together before we seperately leave for work or other activities.
But your message and demonstation on “Big Rocks” last year is one that truly helped me understand the “right start” of the day is a personal one.
I was glad to see that Sunday message listed here. God is certainly touching people with “Lazaroo”.
I must admit that at the begining I had not yet “seen the light” in Lazarro; I could not see how 60 seconds at a modern electronic computer would add any thing else to my day. But I was wrong.
Jo Ann and I do appreciate the written copies we get at BFH however, as we both find we can each start privately when it is the right time in those early moments of the day.
For me, there is so much in my e-mail box, sometimes I find that going to e-mail is a deterent to my “good Start” on the day.
This is the frist time I have gone to my computer for my “personal time LAZAROO” because I could not find my weekly printed copy. It is 3:45 AM. This morning, I just by passed my e-mail and went straight to the web. I found a blessing on the web today as well.
It is great, that even those at Bethel who have no computer can have a starting morning moment with the Lord through Lazaroo.
God is blessing you with just the right words for each day! I am postitive that is more than enough of a blessing for you, BUT from another perspective: We hope you can put those “moments” into a published book of morning inspirations some day, so that others can find their “right start” for the day, and be away from a computer.
If you do find the Lord leading you in that direction, why not include a DVD of the sermon on “Big Rocks” and suggest that the reader view the DVD first, before beginning the Lazaroo journey.
I pray that God will continue to bless His pepole through you for more years to come! Thank you for listening to Him — and sharing! Norm
