You’ve promised me real life, Jesus – not mere existence. 

You said this is the reason You came to earth – to give me a rich, rewarding, deeply satisfying life that would surpass my highest prayers, thoughts, dreams, desires and hopes.

You said Your life was too strong for this earth – that it would swallow up my death and propel me into a life of indescribable joy throughout eternity.

You said Your life would be way too much for me to keep to myself – that it would overflow my banks and saturate the dry, thirsty ground of the people close to me…and even elsewhere in the world.

I believe You.

But I’ve barely begun to taste it!
