“Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.” (Matthew 3:3)

Jesus, You’re All-Powerful. You can go wherever You like, whether the path is straight or crooked.

You don’t even need a path.

Why would You tell me to do something for You that You can do far better Yourself?

Unless this is about Your way…into me.

You could crash in and overpower me, drop me to my knees, force me to humble myself before You. But that’s not what You want, is it?

The only thing You want from me is what I truly want to give.

O God! I – I want to give it all!

Is there anything crooked in what I’m thinking, saying or doing that is keeping us apart? Please show me. And please – help me get it straight with You.
