Lazaroo – Monday, October 26, 2009
Oct 26, 2009 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with total transparency:
“To God’s elect…who have been chosen…for obedience to Jesus Christ…”
(1 Peter 1:1-2)
So that’s why You chose me, Jesus!
Obedience.
Oh, I know You chose me for much more, besides.
But there’s no getting around it, is there?
You really want me to obey You.
Not partially
not reluctantly
but
completely
wholeheartedly.
There are times when I think I want that almost as much as You do.
But there are other times
when I struggle to obey You.
Why?
I know You
know what’s best
know far more than I do
would never ask me to do anything that wasn’t for my good.
So why do I sometimes resent Your commands?
Where does this spirit of rebellion come from?
Oh.
It’s a “spirit” all right.
But not Yours.
No wonder it has the stench of sulfur!
My impulse to disobey
comes straight from the pit of hell.

Greetings; I wish I had 100% Faithfulness Jesus.I don’t and it pulls on me to do less for you,” unless ” I go to Prayer and ask you to forgive and strengthen me to do better.I am so greatfull for your shed Blood to do away with my unfaithfullness. The “saying”, I lost the battle but not the war, holds true with you Jesus.
