Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with burning emotion: 

“Now then, I will crush you…”
(Amos 2:13)

Those are words I never want to hear You speak to me, Jesus!

When You pronounce sentence, there’s no escape.

No use to run
You know where I am at all times.

No use to argue.
All your judgments are just.

I would have absolutely no recourse

except to admit my sin without excuse
throw myself at Your feet.

And in fact, by my trust in what You did for me on the cross

that is what I now do
because in spite of my innumerable, grievous sins

Your mercy
triumphs over judgment.
