What is there about us, Jesus –

that we want to continue to make a difference
even after we’ve left this earth?

Maybe we don’t think about it in our youth

but as we draw closer to our departure
does it start to matter a little more?

I don’t care very much if my name lives on.

Yours is the Name that matters.

Please help me so invest in the life of someone younger that your Name is lifted high

because once upon a time
I was here.
